Illustration Friday - Future

~This picture is inspired from the book World War Z. It is suppose to resemble the zombie from the opposite view in the actual book illustration at the battle of Yonkers. ~

Illustration Friday - Farewell

~ After a week staying in NYC, my friends and I had to say farewell to the city. The way the farewell is stamped across the whole cityscape in ink I thought could be another interpretation of the theme because it could mean it was an official goodbye rather then I sketching two people waving their hands goodbye to the city. The ink would symbolize the permanent aspect of it verses the hands meaning another visit may not be far behind. ~

Illustration Friday - Train

~ When I think train, instantly I think of an old rusty rickety bridge with steel tracks and iron nails. After I sketched this picture out, I then went back in and adjusted the contrast of the image and tried to make it look like a really rough image. ~

Masterpiece Remake

~ The art piece that I decided I would use is called, the UNTITLED (HEAD). The artist that created this piece was Jean-Michel Basquiat. He used acrylic and oil stick on canvas to make his painting, so for mine I thought I would try the same on a different surface, but I want to go back into the piece with using an objective angle where he had alot of etching in his. ~

Illustration Friday - Wild

~ What first inspired me to do this picture was a spider web as the frame for it. Recently I just finished a new art project so the city scape was inspired from that and also my previous Illustration Friday. For the word wild, the way I drew the text was done in my opinion a ,"wild" way to do so. ~
